Hello DD’s. My name is Ryan from DD07. I haven’t posted on here for a long time. I’ve recently created a simple blog on tumblr for posting some of my experiments in design, photography, 2D/3D animation and music. I’d like to share it with you.
Some of you might rememeber there was a one man shooting “crew” here in our campus back in April. Here is the link to the print press on Adobe site, we sent them a selection of videos but they end up using only one of them…

Adobe announced the first Android device to be shipped with the Flash plug-in is the HTC Hero. The device supports Flash Lite 3.1 and not the previously announced full Flash Player 10, which means ActionScript 3.0 would not be supported, only up to Flash Player 9 movies made in ActionScript 2.0 will be playable. Adobe claims that this means that up to 85% of Flash on the Internet will be supported. “The new phone delivers a more complete Web browsing experience and provides access to a broad variety of Flash technology based content available on the Web today.” Read full article
“As a top of the range device it sports multi-touch HVGA, accelerometers, GPS, Compass, WIFI, a 5MP Camera and the incredible Android Webkit Browser. With Flash the web browsing experience on the device is fantastic, rich and gives you access to a more complete Internet. In this mobile optimized runtime we also have support for streaming audio. You’ll be able to interact with games and rich Internet sites, widgets and of course the HTC Hero is a touch device with a huge HVGA (320×480 px) screen.” Full article on Flash Mobile Blog

Hello all, this is Vincent from DD10 (that really tall bloke with the strange laugh). Anyways, I have some exciting news. Since graduating and being hired at Bigpark, I have been working with some amazing engineers and designers on a Free-To-Play Flash-based Tower Defense game by the name of Wizard Defense.
Filling the role as both a designer and developer, we recently just went open beta! I want to stress that this is my first professional project I’ve worked on and I feel very proud to have had the privilege to work on one of the best and most polished Tower Defense games out there. I invite you all to come and play our game and give some feedback! On a sidenote, I was not the only VFSer to have worked on this game, I worked on WD alongside your very own UX prof. Miles Nurse, Charmie Kim, and Daniel Bittencourt (both from GD).
