Two very different links, but both celebrate typography in their own way. I suggest listening to the intonation movie with
headphones…

During this past weekend, my cohorts and I in DD08 were tasked with creating videos. At one point several of us were at a loss for remembering a specific keyboard shortcut (in this case, the “u” key) and so I went in search of a list of shortcuts.
As a result of the search, I found this pdf of all the mac and pc shortcuts.
Finding it useful, I wanted to share it with everyone. Hopefully you will find it as useful as I did.

Hey Everyone,
Here is a short logo animation for my term 3 branding final. It was modeled and animated in 3DSMax, the title was added in with After Effects. Audio design was created with Sony Acid.

Hi everybody,
It is a great chance to us to send our shorts to short film festival.
The deadline is 3th of March.
You can find brief information below.
And, you can also check the website: http://www.pasofest.org

About PASO
PASO was founded in 1999 by students of the Department of Communication and Design from Bilkent University in Ankara. Since then the German Cultural Center- Goethe Institut - in Ankara is the main partner and supporter of the festival.
Objectives of the festival
The films that are produced by students, can unfortunately not have enough opportunity to be screened and thus, they cannot reach the cinema audience. In fact, many of these films, each of which is the end product of intensive creativity and effort, have the potential of contributing the development of the art of cinema. Paso Student Film Festival aims to recharge this potential by introducing student films to students of various universities and cinema audience, in a platform independent from the limitations of a contest, and by mediating discussions on student films.

We won the Grand prize!
My friend and I won the Grand Prix of “JWDA web design awards” in Japan for the site:
NosignDesign ‘WsaH’ website
The web site is the portfolio of designer Eisuke Tachikawa. He provided art direction and I created the flash. This web site was also nominated in the “Sizuoka Digital Contents Grand Prix” and semi Grand Prix

Check it out.

Upcoming Release of Flash Lite to Integrate Video Playback Capabilities!
“Video support in Flash Lite will revolutionize the way users engage with mobile content and open up new revenue opportunities for developers worldwide,” said Al Ramadan, senior vice president for Mobile and Device Solutions at Adobe. “This release will allow users to view vibrant video content from popular Internet sites like YouTube or MySpace and enable developers to create new, dynamic applications across a variety of mobile and consumer electronics platforms.”
Flash Video on every mobile soon?! Seems like a good future for flash…

Some remarkably good use of Photoshop to composite different animals together. You can see them all here.
